GBGTE Stage 1 Chip 2018 Maxima Like many people, I was a bit skeptical about buying a so called “performance chip” to plug into my OBD2, as the online forums for my car state that even the best tuners out there haven’t been able to crack the ECU or do much to enhance the performance for it. But I decided to give it a chance, and for $99 and 60-day guarantee what did I have to lose? It came in 3 days just as the sales rep told me, and after about 15 mins of installation I noticed a major difference in the power and torque/throttle response, no placebo effect here. I drive my car regularly all day most days and am very accustomed to it’s characteristics, and though the 8th gen Maxima is already a quick car, this chip added that missing “fun-factor” I was looking for! Couldn’t be more pleased with this product especially for the money. I’d imagine it could take $1-2k to get the same effect other ways. Only other mod is K&N drop in filter which I already had for a while and run 93 octane. Now I’m just curious about the Stage 3!

GBIt actually does work.... OK... finally got the miles on the chip that they required. It actually does work. Not sure how much horse power it added to the car but I can tell a difference in acceleration and shift points. I did hear back from the company about the questions I ask.. about a week later. I guess later is better than never... I am gonna get one for my 6.4 Ram next.....

GB2006 Dodge Ram 4.7 I wread up on the JDM stage 3 a few months ago, an, actually put headers on my truck like days before the device arrived. I'm running 22x12 on 33's so acceleration/ power has always been a must! The thing bleeps every 10 seconds like a alarm system, but, my Dodge came alive within the hour of plugging it in. I love it, and won't drive far without it ever again.

GB2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police… 2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor 4.6l. Factory dual exhaust which I removed factory muffler and installed 2 FlowMaster single chamber mufflers along with a K&N filter in factory box( since that truely pulls cold air from outside engine compartment). These vehicles come from Ford with high performance tweaks already. I installed the Stage 1 Performance Chip and within about 150 miles I noticed much crisper throttle response and firmer shifting! Along with an Awesome WOT!! Ive tried other performance chips and IAT splice in chips but nothing compares to this simple plug and play chip, best $100 you can spend to "wake up" this 4.6l ! I just upgraded to the Stage 2 Chip and will post a review after a few miles. I am a gear head and have been wrenching for 40 yrs. Living in California I just wanted this car to get out of its own way and Performance Chip answers that problem. I do own and build hot rods/muscle cars. This P71 is a shop car/parts runner.

GBIt cost me a $200.00 repair bill It cost me a $200.00 repair bill for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The performance chip interfered with my EBS and Stabilitrak system. It affected my ride, and my braking, and after taking it off and throwing it away I feel like I'm riding in a completely different car. Whatever difference it was to supposed have failed to materialize after 1,500 miles.
