GBDoes not work as Advertise at all! I got the chip stage 2 for my RAV4 and I let it in the car for 3 weeks (instead of the 2 suggested) and not only didn't improve the miles or give me more power but on the contrary I felt the SUV to be more lethargic then usual, and the miles when down by 3! I paid for shipping back ($11.15) and they also charge me 15% restocking fee?!?@ Their website states 100% money back warranty. I will not recommend this company to my worst enemy!! Update: They reply with lies as you can see below. I have contact them and send it back in the original box with no a scratch in the time allow. I have all corresponding messages and pictures.

GBGreat Product, Great Service I bought a stage 2 chip, and though it was a significant power increase, it caused some surprise redline downshifts with my transmission when letting off the gas after full throttle. Contacted customer service who were very helpful. Replaced it with their JDM stage 3 chip and it is performing flawlessly. My Crown Victoria is now positively FEISTY!!!

GBDoes what it claims Does what it claims. Put Stage 1 on my 2007 Accord V6. Immediately noticed car running smoother, more responsive gas pedal...seems to react higher on the pedal too. After 48 hours, it's still improving. Transmission shifting more softly, can feel a smoother power band. Found two reviews by professionals online. Both came up with similar results. Worth the money.

GBBeware of Electrical Issues I am no expert but I did notice performance gain on my 08 Chevy HHR SS. The problem is the chip caused some electrical issues. When I first installed it some fuses were blown immediately. I replaced those thinking its just a one time issue. Used the chip for a few more weeks and then one day the ABS light came on. Took it to my mechanic and it turns out that the ABS module/system was gone. Now I cannot say its due to the JDM chip but I had never had electrical issues with the car before installing the JDM chip. So yes it does increase performance but beware of electrical issues at least if you own the HHR SS. No plans to use it anymore. Will go back to my Pedal Commander which has always worked well for me. Yes I know they are not the same but I am not trying to race anyone.

GBGTE Stage 1 Chip 2018 Maxima Like many people, I was a bit skeptical about buying a so called “performance chip” to plug into my OBD2, as the online forums for my car state that even the best tuners out there haven’t been able to crack the ECU or do much to enhance the performance for it. But I decided to give it a chance, and for $99 and 60-day guarantee what did I have to lose? It came in 3 days just as the sales rep told me, and after about 15 mins of installation I noticed a major difference in the power and torque/throttle response, no placebo effect here. I drive my car regularly all day most days and am very accustomed to it’s characteristics, and though the 8th gen Maxima is already a quick car, this chip added that missing “fun-factor” I was looking for! Couldn’t be more pleased with this product especially for the money. I’d imagine it could take $1-2k to get the same effect other ways. Only other mod is K&N drop in filter which I already had for a while and run 93 octane. Now I’m just curious about the Stage 3!
