Customers are not allowed to speak Subpar bus company not allowing customers to speak on their phone while on a busride customers paid for. I'm not talking about passengers being obnoxiously noisy and disturbing other passengers. No, You're apparently not "permitted" to use your inside voice when you're conversing on the phone. You're not even "allowed" to speak to your friends and family sitting right next to you in a hushed whisper without being told to be quiet. It's bad enough people are being silenced left and right nowadays. Now grown adults are not even allowed to answer a phone call? What if someone died? What if it's your boss calling about an emergency? What if it's the doctors office giving you a call back? Trailways doesn't care, you are immediately silenced. And if you say anything about their ridiculous rule, you're kicked off with no chance of a refund. Sounds pretty unconstitutional to me. If the drivers can't tolerate some mild chatter, how on earth can they tolerate the noise of other cars honking on the road or the sound of heavy rain? It's ridiculously unrealistic. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, since this company thinks they are operating in communist china and violates an individual's right to verbal communication.

I received a call back from Martz but… I received a call back from Martz but made me to feel like it was my fault alerting the bus driver that someone was smoking. The smoke bothered not just myself but the persons in front and across from me all complained about the smoke. I set only 2 seats behind the driver. Nevertheless, i didn't pay for a bus where there was smoking or an 45 minutes late arrival. He could of apologized with a courtesy discount of some kind.

I am a commuter that lives in Effort I am a commuter that lives in Effort. I've been traveling with Martz for years. As you probably already know, many of your drivers don't like driving downtown. We finally have a driver that loves driving from Wall street to Effort and you are cancelling the only bus that can get us home from the downtown area. Why are you doing this to us? It took me years to be able to change my hours at work so I can leave my job on time to get the only bus that leaves from Wall Street. And now it's as though you don't care. Why is that? Is it because the bus isn't uncomfortably packed and you're not getting enough money? How can you do this to people? Instead of cancelling all Wall street buses to Effort, can you try changing the time? Most people get to work too late to leave at 4:30. Can you try changing the time so that more people will be able to catch the bus? I'm sure you've gotten other emails about this. If you don't want to be bothered with the run from Wall street, can you get another bus company to help? Please don't leave us hanging out there with the only option of getting home is taking a train to the Port Authority which will take more time to get to and even more money out of our pocket trying to get home. Please remember you are giving us less service, raising the ticket price and making us have to pay more to get to your bus! Ramona
