Carfax is a scam Carfax has a report I never signed up for. Allstate sold them an estimate repair! Wow carfax has to be a bunch of?? They are calling feathering or color matching as damage false report. Paint matching is not damage. It was a new truck parked in private property involved in a hit and run. Minor damage to right side. The way carfax has the reported makes it look like truck was in a accident. It was not even a police report just an incident report. Carfax refuses to use police incident report. It will make there claim look false. Carfax is worthless they act like GOD! FALSE REPORT BOUGHT FROM ALLSTATE. Sad thing is false report is based off an estimate not a final bill. This place is a joke!!

Wheelbrief SCAM - don't run report 3/28/23: I had similar experience as the other reviews. I listed my vehicle for sale on auto trader. Right off the bat I had 2 people text and acted like they were interested in my vehicle. They both said they wanted to come look at my vehicle that day but before they would come look, they wanted me to run a report on wheelbrief (WB). I've never heard of WB so I did an internet search and found out that it was a scam. I quickly text them back and told them that I would not be running the report and if they wanted additional information, they could run the report themselves.

I have my Corvette listed on Autotrader… I have my Corvette listed on Autotrader and I get a text message from 346 area code in Houston area asking me if I have a Wheel Brief report on my car. I told the person that I've never heard of Wheel Brief and the person then sent me a link to a site called Wheel Brief. The person said that they lived a hour and a half away and would be at my house the next day with cash to buy my Vette. But, the person insisted on having a Wheel Brief report first. I told the person that I would provide the Carfax, they wanted the Wheel Brief report. This is all s scam, pay $40 to get absolutely nothing and I didnt fall for it. I told the person that my kids Mom works for the FBI and that is true. I also told the person that the scam that they are using is wire fraud and the phone number was issued into a data base that tracks criminals on the Internet.
