I new nothing about transportation… I new nothing about transportation prior to this class! I have watched videos on dispatching and was still all over the place, but Tawana brings all of it together for you. Tawana made sure we understood and learned. A Wealth of Knowledge Working with Gold Star Logistics Group has been life changing. I initially started learning about the transportation business by helping my husband start his company, but after working with Tawana and her crew, I've learned so much and feel empowered as a black woman in the industry. I took Tawana's dispatching course around June 2021. We purchased our truck in July and trailer in August. Tawana guided us throughout the entire process giving us insight on how to best invest our money. Since then, we've hired a driver and after initially working with a GSL dispatcher, are now dispatching ourselves. I learned most of what I know about setting up our company from Tawana.
