SCAM ALERT - Fort Lauderdale location SCAM ALERT - I am being blamed for and charged $930 for a scratch that was already there on pickup - I am dealing with the Greenmotion location in Fort Lauderdale (which turns out is run by the same people as Rentcars) I have photo and video which I have sent in but the location is not helpful at all and is refusing fault. This reeks of a scam where the location either manipulate images or take poor photos or hide certain parts of the image just because I submitted my own insurance so now the onus is on me/them and they get a free repair. In conversation with the location (I spoke to a Paul and an a Alberto) the response was to ignore my requests to see previous renter close out details/talk to management and to repeat "We have escalated with management and consider this case closed" and "file with your insurance and they will pick up the bill". I am confident without a doubt that that scratch was there when I picked up the car and the duty of care is on greenmotion. Again, I have provided the location and management with time stamped photos, video with a green motion agent in the background and requested more images to no positive response. Unprofessional, predatory company with zero business ethics. STAY AWAY.

Smooth rental process Smooth rental process, decent car selection. The ride was comfy, though AC took a bit to cool. Return was easy, and free roadside assistance is a nice perk. Overall, a solid choice in Miami
