misleading pricing / inventory misleading pricing / inventory. Website says $97, but then a chat box interrupts the checkout price, says talk to a salesman. You hand over your phone number and email, the salesmans says it's actually $1100 with a month lead time. They're all lies, top to bottom.

My experience with Hard Disk Direct was… My experience with Hard Disk Direct was great. They shipped the drive I needed right away and it arrived the next day and is working as expected. The drive was well packaged and it actually arrived a day sooner than promised.

Bait and switch Ordered 30 drives for $85 each, was then notified that the drive was no longer available and suggested notified of another model priced at $500 each! Felt bait and switched overall. Canceled order.

Ordered drives Ordered drives, they charged credit card, would not ship drives unless I sent a picture of my CC and drivers license. What company does that if the card clears. No drives and I am trying to cancel and get my money back. I think it will never happen, but we will see.
