ESShockingly bad storage provider. Shockingly bad storage provider. What a nightmare I've had with these guys. Desktop app for macOS is beyond buggy, upload speeds are horrible (had an ongoing ticket open for 5 months to troubleshoot!). Doesn't matter if you have unlimited storage if your upload speeds take 6 hours to upload a 1GB file. Web GUI is unintuitive and almost as buggy as the desktop app. It appears OpenDrive created a competitive product 5 or 6 years years ago, by now the competition wipes the floor with what they're offering. Turns out there's a v good reason why these guys never appear on any top 10 etc lists of providers, I should have guessed unlimited was too good to be true.

GBThis is a really great little known cloud service This is a really great little known storage facility which comes with 5GB of storage FREE, when you sign up! That's not to mention a whole host of other ways you can attain free storage. If you decide to choose to upgrade to a big storage (which I certainly will do) you will find that the prices are very competitive. All round, I am very glad I stumbled across this service and I highly recommend it!

PLNot half bad for first impression Not half bad for first impression. The app is little bit hard to use, esp. when you want to synch multiple files in folders and don't want to place there an additional folder. The speeds on free accounts are pretty slow. I'll update the review when I'll buy upgrade to personal account.

BDsharing direct links make this site unique. on 21 March 2023 , I made an account on opendrive , It was a great storage site because easily I could share my music url directly to my android apps. First time I got 5 GP free for stored my music , So I think sharing direct links make this site unique.

GBOPENDRIVE = CHEAP NAS SUPPORT I think OpenDrive is an amazing offer for the cheap economy of the package. You get the access of three essential tools: Notes, Storage, and a Task Manager. You have access to all these useful features even on their Free edition. Therefore, OpenDrive is essentially a Free All-In-One GTD program. You can save yourself the money of subscribing to three apps for Storage, Notes, and Task Management, and only subscribe to OpenDrive. I highly recommend the Paid version of OpenDrive specifically to take advantage of the NAS aspect. The Data Capped Paid subscription with approved NAS support allows you to stream your entertainment from the cloud, such as: your music and videos. However, if you do not require Entertainment streaming, then signing up for their Paid ‘Personal Unlimited’ plan gives you Unlimited storage and notes for all your files.
