Phenomenal products AND service I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve never felt so compelled to shout from the rooftops how amazing something is before. First, I don’t know that I’ve ever experienced such amazing customer service in my life. I ordered shimmer mineral foundation samples a while back and didn’t notice at the time the line was being discontinued, so when I went to order my shade it was gone. Which was a huge bummer because I was replacing my favorite foundation that had also been discontinued and I liked this foundation even better! The coverage you get with the tiniest bit of product is insane, and as someone in her 40s, it’s unbelievable that it doesn’t look cakey or settle into fine lines, and makes me look dewy and diffuses pores. I found the unicorn! So on a hope and a prayer, I reached out to see if there was any way I could still get it. Sandra responded within hours and offered to send me the one (miracle!) jar she had left and also offered a sample custom blend out of the shades she had left. While I was at it, I ordered Mocha Ice eye shadow, Cocoa Bean eyeliner and the Black Onyx mascara. My order arrived and imagine my absolute joy when I realized Sandra had sent me the remainder of my shade and a JAR of a custom blend and it was PERFECT MATCH. Is this real life?? As for the other products: the Mocha Ice is close to my favorite shade in the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, Liar (I basically just keep buying the palette for that shade!). The pigment is fantastic, blendable, and has a more subtle shimmer than UD. The Cocoa Bean eyeliner is so creamy and has a very smooth application. The wand brush application felt awkward since I’m used to my usual felt tip eyeliner so it took me longer to apply, so the formula got a tad sticky but even then I was still able to get the perfect, sharp wing. And it was easy to correct mistakes when the dreaded mid-application blink occurred. Next, as a redhead, let me just say I’ve been around the block with mascaras. This one has a creamy formulation that goes on slick, super black and 100% clump free, seemingly no matter how many coats. Super easy to get volume and a dramatic lash quickly, and it has this amazing subtle scent. I would be remiss to not mention the products I got are organic. I actually own an organic spa so supporting organic is incredibly important to me. I’m over the moon that I found an organic makeup that I love this much! So if you’ve read this far, RUN, don’t walk, to checkout with everything you can!
