I have been using Chanty since beta and… I have been using Chanty since beta and it works fairly well and similar to Slack if you are a business that needs a good chat collaboration tool. The biggest benefit over something like Slack is the cost. We have been using the free tier this whole time and have not had any message count hard caps or anything else imposed on us. It's still lacking some features that apps like Slack provide, but overall I think it's a great alternative if your budget doesn't allow for Slack to be used in your organization.

Easy-to-use team chat app Chanty is an easy-to-use team chat app. I think that the feature of turning messages into tasks is a brilliant idea. Having audio calls and exchanging voice messages with your team is really helpful while working remotely. I like that Chanty integrates with Asana, Trello, Zapier and other tools.

I've been using Chanty since before the public release... I've been using Chanty since before the public release and have been impressed. I was a frustrated Slack user who also used Basecamp for a little while. Both systems were way too expensive and also too busy/heavy for our small team. When Slack started deleting older threads because we'd reached our maximum storage space, that was the last straw. We needed a simple, conversational platform to consolidate conversations that were happening across email and too many different kinds of messaging apps. We also don't have a lot of wiggle room in our budget. Chanty fit the bill. The interface is easy to use, and updates/upgrades have come steadily since the public release. Any time I've had a question or problem, the support staff has been quick and friendly in their reply - and they've solved the problem every time! I'd definitely recommend giving Chanty a try!
