Not only was this email unsolicited and without prior consent, but it also made presumptions that do not reflect our company's situation or needs. The fact that BairesDev used my contact information, presumably gleaned from sources like LinkedIn without explicit permission, is a breach of my expectations for privacy and data use. It also casts doubt on the research quality claimed by Mr. Douglas, given the inaccuracy of his assertions about our company's status and needs. I advise BairesDev to re-evaluate their marketing and data collection practices to ensure they are compliant with privacy laws and more respectful of the professionals they contact. Assumptions about potential clients and unsolicited emails are not the basis for a trustworthy business relationship.
