GBExceeded expectations and amazing value for money I was skeptical when I picked up a Beetles gel starter kit for less than a quarter of the price of other known brands - but I felt like, at that price it was really worth a try. I have been so pleased I took the chance. Kit came with 5 great, usable colours and good quality tools - everything I needed. So far, have done gel mani for myself and daughter. We both got so many compliments on them, almost everyone who commented was amazed that these weren't applied professionally in a salon. Now a week later, they still look great, no chips, no peeling, vibrant colour. Massively exceeded expectations. So excited to browse all the packs of different shades, will definitely be investing in more.

GBMy personal cosmetologist review My mom bought a Beetles Advent calendar for December and on one of the days there was a really pretty sparkly green. My mom loves the color green and it was Christmas so I polished her pinkie and pointer fingers but a day or two later they started to hurt really bad to the point of tears. So she takes the polish off and the next day she had big black and purple bruises on her pointer and pinkie fingers. Also I polished all my fingernails with the same polish but they didn't hurt the first time and it lasted 2weeks until I had to re-polish my nails. Then that's when my fingers started to hurt the day after Christmas I had excruciating pain, a bruise on a couple fingers and inflamed skin under the free edge of the nail. But I haven't tried out the other polishes on my nails that were in the Advent calendar. I have used Beetle polishes before on both of our nails and it has never hurt our nails before. Also In the polish packs I got last Christmas there was a silver and gold sparkle that didn't hurt our nails. So I'm guessing it's just in that sparkly polish from the advent calendar?

GBSide affects Can I ask anyone who has used this product a few times, have you started to have problems and pain with your nails? My sister bought so many colours from them after believing they where the best, then suffered immensely to the point of thinking she had a health issue, only thing it come down to on medical advice was this product and possibly being allergic. Which she accepted, then gave her whole set of gels to me. On me using them twice, literally a week apart to change colour Iv suffered since. And still have painful nails and finger tips, even though I didn’t use them after two applications and thought they where getting better Iv now got a huge sore on thumb 😞 That is the short outcome and symptoms. Just wanted to know if anyone else has suffered the same

GBNice colours Nice colours (can be a little thin on coverage, sometimes needs an extra coat) and nice to buy in a set too, goes on and levels well and finishes nice once coverage is achieved.

GBGood quality for the price I've never had any problems with Beetles Gel. I ordered a starter kit about a year ago and have been adding to my collection since. I find the polish lasts two weeks for me before it starts to chip. I definitely recommend prepping your nails with nail dehydrator before applying your basecoat and properly pushing back your cuticles to help it last. Capping your nails is a must too. I think you get good value for money with this brand.
