AUAppalling.. Appalling... so far it has taken 7 months to try to get a response... they don't answer the phones, they don't return calls to messages, they don't respond to their contact form. So after 7 month of try to get in touch, I have finally had the time turn up in person - given that I work full time! - but guess what! Printer is broken.. so cannot get a re-print of a card (never mind that original was never received!) or even a certificate of completion printed... but taking the fee for said re-print??? They are straight onto that!!!

ITSo much better than Toptal We are currently in the middle of a major project and had previously worked with Toptal. Years ago, we used Upwork, but the developers were always hit or miss. As a result, I quickly saw the value of getting vetted talent. But Toptal didn't have the right talent for this project, so I started to shop around and found Skillhire... and I honestly would never go back to Toptal. Basically, Skillhire offers a much more personalized recruitment experience where they first meet with you to understand your project's goals, and then they individually test and screen candidates for a specific project. With Upwork, I never knew what I was getting. In addition, the "Cheaper" developers always ended up being more expensive! With Toptal, they would just force whoever was available at that time on you. Always quality talent, yes... but without consideration of the project (and at a heavy, heavy premium). Skillhire was a lot more higher-touch. And Rami was great to deal with, too. I was really impressed by how they screened and tested candidates before presenting them to me after truly trying to understand our project and our goals. As a result, it's honestly the best of both worlds – and I won't be going back to Toptal or casting my net in Upwork again. Really positive experience.
