5 year client... I've used Decimal through their transitions from KPGM Spark to Bookly and now Decimal. Every time they transition their bookkeeping services become more 3rd world like. It could be because they outsource their work to 3rd world countries, non-native English speakers who make errors and need constant supervision on the client's part to make certain they are not mixing up deposits. They are constantly behind on their bookkeeping record keeping as well. It is April 11th 2024 and my business nor personal bookkeeping records are finished for 2023. This has been a constant issue with them, filing late, for the past 3 years. We are a very small company and our books are not that complicated. We are switching this month to another company as Decimal just can't be trusted.

Better providers for the money I've run businesses for 30+ years and have worked with developing products for accounting firms. While I'm not an accountant, I have a deep understanding of the process of bookkeeping and the workings of accounting firms. I had a company chose Decimal and the whole process was seemed to be problematic and the experience was poor. The books were a mess at year end and needed to be reconstructed, most calls I had dropped in on were unfriendly, the customer service was frustrating from the account management. Having used other services, like Collective, Bench and other CPA services in my opinion I would put my experience with Decimal lower on the list.
