We had the trainer come to our home to… We had the trainer come to our home to train our 10 month old puppy. The trainer provided us with very valuable information and demonstrated what to do. She also left us with written info and encouraged us to call her if necessary. She stressed PATIENCE and repetition with our puppy. The training was completed but I had hip surgery which went well and now I feel I can reinforce what we were taught. Our trainer is professional and trustworthy and we would highly recommend her.

Always Faithful Dog Training We sent our dog, Bruno, to Always Faithful Dog Training for behavior modification training. Bruno has fear aggression and a bite history. He had previously worked with a few other trainers and been medicated. After talking with Abe, he seemed confident he could help and suggested a two week stay at bootcamp and then some sessions at home to show us how to maintain training. We were hopeful this more intensive approach would help correct Bruno’s behaviors and make having him in our home safer. At camp, Bruno was taken off of his medication so that Abe could see his full level of reactivity. The day before picking Bruno up from bootcamp, we were sent several leadership handouts with general information on being a leader to your dog and how to identify types of behaviors. When it came time to pick Bruno up, Abe was on his way out and didn’t spend any time explaining what was done during the stay just saying “He should be good now” and sending me on my way. There were never any at home sessions. The first time Bruno tried to bite me after returning home, we reached out to Abe and he directed me to use bitter apple spray directly to the mouth, so I began keeping it on me at all times, which seemed to only make Bruno more reactive. Despite following the information in the leadership handout, within a few weeks of returning home, Bruno’s behavior had returned to the worst it has ever been. We again reached out to Abe, several times via text asking for guidance on specific situations with no response and later via email where we were just told to refer to the handouts. When we asked follow up questions regarding other methods to interrupt behaviors, the email went unanswered. It is unclear what, if anything, was accomplished during Bruno’s stay at Always Faithful Dog Training. It seems like Abe took on a case he knew he was not equipped to handle and ghosted us when things started getting bad. We were ultimately left with a more dangerous dog than we started with as he was unmedicated and still had all of the same behavior issues.
