Home run... Video Jeeves did the illustrations for two of my books: Felix and Eagle Imagine and Rodowell Sky: Miracles Come to Life. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they were quite the professionals. I had the luxury of working with Kristina, who now has the brand name American Illustration Experts, and closely working with Daisy, the Senior Art Director. She was a joy to work with and was always prompt in her responses. Going into this process, I was nervous and a bit skeptical because I was asking someone else to bring to life the images locked away in my mind, figuratively speaking. Not only did Daisy and her graphic designer team deliver, but it was exhilarating waiting for the next illustration each week. I will truly miss those moments. Naturally there were minor things to tweak or correct like the grass needing to look more real, but no matter the issue, and they were few and far between, Daisy and her entourage ALWAYS corrected it and delivered a GREAT illustration. Even when it came to the cover designs of both books, I didn’t have the faintest idea for what to put on them. I think I told Daisy a cloud or something for one and playsets for the other. Pitiful, I know. Needless to say, I trusted Daisy’s team and boy did they come through! Furthermore, I highly recommend using Video Jeeves and American Illustration Experts for any aspiring author looking to add a little pizazz to their manuscript or cover. I’ll tell you one thing, I will definitely work with them again in the near future!
