I first saw his instruction on YouTube where he was demonstrating techniques from pianists ranging from Art Tatum to McCoy Tyner to Robert Glasper. His performance was strong and his explanations were patient and clear. Based on those viewings I reached out to Noah for private video lessons. I found he has the same personality and style 1:1 that he does in his videos. In my lessons we broke down critical concepts and discussed how I could apply them to my playing. I was so pleased with the lessons that I have now joined one of Noah's online classes for continuing instruction. He equipped us with a carefully thought-out lesson plan and all the resources we'll need to grow as musicians. He's very interactive and knows how to plot out a course that will indeed get us to the destination he's invited us to journey with him toward; charming, understanding, down-to-earth, and very quick to acknowledge and correct his few mistakes. My only qualm is that I wish I could have him for myself! Such a great teacher is such a rare find, after all.
