I saw a post on Nextdoor about… I saw a post on Nextdoor about kindness, in the comments some random company said to message them if they really needed help. Our golden had just had emergency surgery, our family had to open up a ultra high interest credit line to pay for the bill upfront. We knew we couldn’t afford to repay it without interest killing us. We had to do it though. I messaged this company explaining our situation (their post was offering $250 for people) I was surprised to get a response to my direct message to them asking me to call a number. I called and Dennis talked to me a bit about our family and asked me whether we had insurance for our family golden and how much the credit we had taken was...I told him, $2,257 and no we didn’t have insurance because our dog has a pre-existing condition and insurance was over $1000 a year. He then told me that he’s going to pay the entire bill, and buy us lemonade insurance for a year for us. I’m a grown man, I don’t cry and I don’t ask for things in life. It’s been a struggle for so long and kindness just doesn’t seem to come much these days. I was so doubtful there’s just no way this wasn’t a trick man. I sent a picture of the bill and statement of the credit line we had to take out. He told me “one sec”, I was still thinking this was a trick somehow. Less than 10 minutes later, he tells me to check my account, $0 balance. He called and paid the whole balance. Man, I cried man, I just cried man. I was so shocked man, then he asked me for some details about our dog and me, and a few minutes later I get an email for our paid Annual insurance policy. Man he never asked me for anything, just told me to take care of my family and to take my gratefulness and just be kind to others. Doesn’t feel like real life now even as I am thinking on the whole thing. I’m 36 years old man never in my life someone do something so nice for me I just want to say Dennis, my family and I thank you forever. I will never forget. Never
