GBDon't miss this opportunity As a private renter you would expect your options to improve the property you are living in to be very limited, and with recent energy price hikes it has made heating my house challenging. The process started by just sending an email to Grants4homeimprovements which was responded to within hours. They take your home details and information on what government benefits you receive and can then advise you as to what can be potentially provided. The next stage is a surveyor visiting you and ideally your landlord to look in detail at the property to establish the best improvements that can be achieved. My experience was good, the surveyor was very helpful and explained what they were looking to achieve from an insulation and heating point of view. It took about two hours and was very detailed. Ten days later they contacted me to say that under the grant system a new heating system along with additional insulation and Solar PV could be provided at no cost to myself or the landlord. The work is scheduled to commence is two weeks. Everyone I have dealt with at Grants4homeimprovements has been helpful and quick to respond.

GBInstallation of night storage heaters I have had nothing but positive help since applying for the heaters and when they arrived the two installers were extremely polite and very efficient. I had to make a number of calls to the office in Truro during the overall process and was always met with courtesy. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I am more than happy with the night storage heaters.
