GBGreat, easy little video editing software I've been using WeVideo for over a year and it is the easiest and quickest way to produce high-quality videos for social, web, youtube, etc. Not sure why everyone over the last few weeks is slagging it off, I thought I'd write this to reflect a real user and not someone who has a problem with the company name. If you are not happy with the demo don't upgrade.

GBThe program is great for putting… The program is great for putting together media to use in the educational venue. I love the choices to put individual clips together and be able to edit. The only thing I have struggled with, and was unable to find help for, was how to switch back and forth from Storyboard to Editing screen and I have struggled with cleaning up my video from parts I wanted to delete.

GBEasy To Use WeVideo was much easier to use than other slideshow/video creator programs (like iMovie or Adobe). The learning curve was small and I was able to quickly navigate the program. My only complaint was that it was really hard to add an element in to an earlier part of the slideshow without having to majorly fix everything else. Because each of my clips had multiple components, they all had to be moved forward to accommodate adding anything earlier in the slideshow. The finished product was lovely and professional looking. It was also easy to upload to various sites (YouTube, Google drive, etc). I will definitely use it again when I need to create slideshows in the future!

GBHomophobic The actual video editing service is decent enough, however I have recently noticed that they have NO photos in the stock photo library that relate to LGBTQ+ individuals and issues. I searched "pride flag" and got the Irish flag, American flag, and others, but NOT the pride flag. I searched "gay", "lesbian", "trans", and "LGBTQ+" and got no results. This is demeaning as well as inconvenient (I needed the footage for a video I was making, ironically about homophobia). I hope that those at WeVideo realize that queer erasure is not ok and does effect people, even when it's as simple as not having any queer-related imagery in the stock selection.
