USDO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY - OVER $10k DOWN THE DRAIN UPDATE: If you would like even more reason to not work with this company, read their replies to THEIR customer’s reviews. Not only is this harassment, they continue to lie. They did not refund me $4,000, they only refunded me $2,000 after I told them I was reporting them to the BBB. I also have proof of how they provided me with false information in order to get me to sign a contract with them. I had to “micromanage” my Account Manager because he kept forgetting to update my shop, products, and left ads running on a product that he had already told me “failed testing”. Also, it was in my contract that I paid them $6,000 to handle Customer Service. So by them admitting in their reply that customers were being directed to me for support when I was given ZERO visibility to what was going on with my shop proves that they breached their contract. Maybe they should spend less time harassing the people they manipulated into signing contracts with them and focus on learning how to do what they say they do. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! PLEASE let me be a cautionary tale for you. They have no idea what they are doing. I have been told lie after lie and been delivered so much misinformation. I have been working with The Leading Group since August 2023 they launched my shop a little less than a month after in September 2023. As of now, my total expenses have been greater than $12,600 and they have only been able to generate my shop a total of $2,520.93 in TOTAL SALES. That puts me at a LOSS of OVER $10,000. I consistently had to proactively reach out to my Account Manager for updates, no one communicated with me any type of strategy, and they kept gas lighting me like it was something I was doing wrong and that I was trying to be "too hands-on". I had to be hands-on or nothing would have been accomplished. They cannot communicate their strategy for generating sales simply because THEY DO NOT HAVE ONE! I reached out to them with all of my documentation of every event and outreach that took place throughout my time working with them. They DID NOT uphold their end of the contract in regard to "1:1 Account Management" or "Customer Support". I had several customers reach out directly to me stating they never received their products. When I sent them this documentation I requested a refund of my initial investment given the fact that they did not uphold their end of the contract. They AGAIN gaslit me saying this wasn't true, but they would assign me a new Account Manager. I'm simply writing this review to make sure NO ONE ELSE falls victim to The Leading Group. They are a scam and I have all the receipts to prove it.

USVery Expensive, Not Worth It, and Low Success I feel strongly that the fee this business charges for store setup is way too high, and not worth it. There are many other companies out there charging much less for the same services. After discontinuing my business with this company and receiving a partial refund of $2k, which was all they were willing to offer, I still feel I vastly overpaid. I have been working with Shopify store managers I hired directly at a low hourly rate, since they're based abroad, and have already found their work to be of higher quality. We have researched many more quality products as well. I wish I had saved my money and tried this out myself. I do not feel like The Leading Group was doing anything that special or value-add for me with such a high startup cost, and then such a high monthly fee. Thankfully I quit before the monthly fee started. I would amend my review if the startup cost had been lower. Now that I see what these services entail and what they are worth, I really did overpay for a store template that was cloned for me, and for a store with minimal success, which mostly only offered one single product, and had typos and bad styling throughout.

USTax responsibility not factored into profits Not a scam but just keep in mind they don’t include your tax responsibilities when presenting potential profits. Shopify reports all sales to the IRS. You’ll be responsible for sales tax on all sales and federal taxes on all profits. Once factored in, the profits are very minimal, if any. Company is legit and their people are very professional, just not worth it when everything is factored in.

USPaid $6K+, 36 Sales in 8 Months with $300 Profit So Far Things are moving, but very slowly. I feel like my store is not getting the right amount of attention to really produce like it could. Like the three other people I've spoken to who have done business with The Leading Group, I was not pleased with the service. After leaving a less-than-stellar review here, The Leading Group contacted me on Instagram. The first person I spoke to became hostile and was unwilling to help or refund my money, which I still prefer. After some time, another person reached out to me on Instagram and offered to help. They were much more pleasant to deal with and got things rolling. Soon, I had ten times the sales I had in the previous six months. Which is a good start but far from what I was promised and expected. They contacted me again to see if I would update this review. This is it. I will give them four stars when I recoup my money. Due to the very rough start and lack of communication and accountability, a five-star review is out of the question at this point.

USStay away from The Leading Group... I used this company to help sell products (hired them, really) via an Instagram ad. I initially mentioned that I'd like to make an extra couple thousand dollars, per month. They said that seemed reasonable, after a start up period. I paid a few thousand dollars to them, registered a website, created an Ali Express account, paid for Slack, etc... all the things I was supposed to do. We set up a TikTok business account and I paid for ads. I had an original "account manager," who researched products and (allegedly) tested different marketing campaigns. I had a few sales, but nothing significant... this was after a month or two, maybe. Not totally sure on the timeline. Communication was sporadic. After a while, nothing was happening with the store. No sales, no communication from the AM. I was given a new account manager after about six months... he was very nice and optimistic, spoke about trying new products and new campaigns. But really, nothing major happened. I think I sold a few things. The second manager was more engaged, though... but having a few people add a product to a shopping cart, then not buy anything, doesn't really sound like a successful store. After approximately 10 months, I'd say I spent about $10,000 for the service, the ads, buying and fulfilling the products, the Slack and Shopify accounts. And I think the store probably did less than $1,000 in total business. So, spent $10,000 to do less than $1,000 in revenue... not profit. Revenue. Super bummed. It sounded too good to be true, so shame on me for falling for it. I wanted to be patient but I was tired to paying for the TikTok ads each month. And, in a show of good faith, they didn't charge me the monthly $500 that they're supposed to collect (since there was no activity on the store, they said they didn't make me pay). EDIT: I'm updating my review, based on the feedback from TLG. I had an account for almost a year, not 3 months or 6 months. I was pretty patient. Based on our initial Instagram chats, I was told that breaking even, or even turning a profit in six months, was very doable. They included screenshots of Slack conversations from APRIL of 2023. Almost a year ago.. nothing from the last six months, when I kept asking for updates or when I was given a new account manager. Or when I was told that they would 'investigate' why the store wasn't performing, then I wouldn't get a response.
