Not the cheapest but definitely not the… Not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive. I loved the honesty from this company from start to finish. I have used coordinators before and it was not a pleasant experience. This was totally different. I felt calm, and every question i had was answered around every corner. I got rid of a lot of stuff right before my move in order to save costs and they were able to modify my estimate slightly and put the money towards more packing that I needed. Garin was truly lovely in how he handled everything, and when the movers got there Jen called me to make sure everything was going smoothly. My number one recommendation is to label everything, be prepared, and BEEEE NICEEEE to your movers. My husband was in the moving industry for years, and if I had a nickel for every customer horror story he had. I have found that the nicer I am to these guys the better my move will be and GOLLY it works. My stuff arrived, packed perfectly. Not a scratch except 2 broken plates in a box i had packed myself, so the only person to blame that on is me. I highly highly recommend their services. I hope this will be my last move, but who knows. If it isn't they know they will be getting a phone call. Thanks Gold Standard.

Move yourself!!! Worst experience! Bait and switch! Unreliable, ineffective! Shady! Better off doing the move yourself and avoid the hassle and headache of involving Gold Standard. Staff are rude! Surprised they are in business!! Gold Standard also replies back to negative comments with way too much customer specifics. They also frabricate the truth in a poor attempt to redeem themselves. Sales dept is untrustworthy and customer service is rude. They talk about their 48 hr window to sand bag customers into contract agreement. But after listening to their incompetence for 2 days I was not letting them take my belongings anywhere. Do they really think it is okay to show up in the dark to prep and load trailer, as long as the job is done by midnight? After 4 no calls and no shows?? They refuse to accept they fall short, refuse to apologize. Horrible experience all around, every department! Hire bellhops to load and unload, take a toad trip! Do your move yourself!!
