Movers were 2 hours late which caused… Movers were 2 hours late which caused us not to be able to close on our house and left us homeless for 3 days. They did come out and move the contents into our house for free once we got the keys but they should have since it was their fault in the first place. The guys who moved our stuff were very professional and took good care of our items.

Really great experience! Really great experience! First time hiring a moving company, and they made it so easy. I packed a bit, but they probably did 70% of the packing. It was amazing not having to worry about every little thing. Nothing broke, nothing stolen, nothing damaged in the slightest - even some really delicate furniture I have.

Sorry to say, Great Disappointment Sorry to say, but I'm very disappointed with Black Tie Movers.. has been 30 out since I've move and just realized my jewelry box is not in my house.. Had a lot of boxes that I'm still going thru and notice my jewelry box is gone..the mover stop somewhere to eat lunch. That's what they told me, when they finally showed up an hour later... so they went thru my belonging.

Good but not great They didn't break or lose anything. But, when the guy came to look at our stuff and decide what size truck they needed, the refrigerator was supposed to go. By the time the move happened, the refrigerator was staying, BUT the truck still got completely full, and I had to drive with a lot of stuff in my car. Also, the movers tried to lock up the truck and drive away before they had everything.

Time lost, money spent The movers were willing to modify the plan when my life situation changed between scheduling the completing the move. However, due to the additional time required to complete the task, I strongly suggested the movers take a lunch break - they declined. When we had to make a second trip, they took at least 20 minutes longer than I did to return to the same location. I was asked to pay for the entire time in spite of this rather obvious delay. Additionally, as they were tired and hungry, the efficiency of the process significantly dropped toward the end, adding additional time and expense for me to the event.
