GBSorry to say, Great Disappointment Sorry to say, but I'm very disappointed with Black Tie Movers.. has been 30 out since I've move and just realized my jewelry box is not in my house.. Had a lot of boxes that I'm still going thru and notice my jewelry box is gone..the mover stop somewhere to eat lunch. That's what they told me, when they finally showed up an hour later... so they went thru my belonging.

GBMoving experience was average at best Moving experience was average at best. Refrigerator stopped working after the move and the moving company dragged their feet towards finding any acceptable solution to he broken fridge. Workers seems a bit lax in their efforts. Literally took all day to move a limited amount of furniture even after all boxes were prepared and placed in front of house. I ended up having to rent a Uhaul afterwards because they didn’t finish the job like they said they would. Basically ended up costing me more money than necessary. Also had one of the movers show up, then leave shortly after arriving with no explanation. No back up provided. I ended up having to help the movers a lot more than your average help here and there. And I was paying them. The whole operation just seems quite unprofessional at their basic core. Gave them 3 stars instead of 2 just because they did work with me to reduce the cost of moving due to the limited crew. But then again, it took longer to move as well. Overall I would give them a C for a grade.

GBI requested the packing service for Black Tie… I requested the service for Black Tie to both pack and move me. Man, you talk about taking their time! Three of them accomplished what I could have by myself during the packing portion. They were late for arrival. My 5 gallon Sparklets water container filled with coins didn't make the journey. Moving 5 miles from Lovers Lane to Turtle Creek took 9 hours. I was so exhausted at watching them lethargically mope around that I couldn't protest at the end. I was just glad to have that experience behind me. I realize this experience has much more to do with the moving employees as compared to the owner of the company, but it reflects poorly on the owner when a client such as me has a miserable experience.

GBI have used Black Tie several times and… I have used Black Tie several times and I absolutely love the service I received. They were very thorough and they wrapped everything very well so that nothing would break or scratch. They were extremely efficient and got the job done expeditiously. Overall I really enjoyed the services that I received and I would highly recommend Black Tie.

GBMovers were 2 hours late which caused… Movers were 2 hours late which caused us not to be able to close on our house and left us homeless for 3 days. They did come out and move the contents into our house for free once we got the keys but they should have since it was their fault in the first place. The guys who moved our stuff were very professional and took good care of our items.
