Very polite & eager to help in any way Very polite & eager to help in any way. Did good job of wrapping & protecting furniture. Moved slow & did not bump walls or door facing. They worked good together. I would recommend them to anyone that needs anything moved. I used them 3 yrs ago when I moved from Carrollton area to my current residence in Oak Point.

I requested the packing service for Black Tie… I requested the service for Black Tie to both pack and move me. Man, you talk about taking their time! Three of them accomplished what I could have by myself during the packing portion. They were late for arrival. My 5 gallon Sparklets water container filled with coins didn't make the journey. Moving 5 miles from Lovers Lane to Turtle Creek took 9 hours. I was so exhausted at watching them lethargically mope around that I couldn't protest at the end. I was just glad to have that experience behind me. I realize this experience has much more to do with the moving employees as compared to the owner of the company, but it reflects poorly on the owner when a client such as me has a miserable experience.

A full year after my move you continue… A full year after my move you continue to as for my review yet you were made aware of my displeasure with your services. Your crew showed up understaffed and without proper equipment. One worker hid in the backyard talking on his cell ohone and smoking. Your lead worked admitted one crew member was brand new to the job and would not be back. He was only capable of folding blankets (when he was not on his phone and smoking). The love took two hours longer than planned because your crew included only two workers plus the aforementioned new “worker”. Not having the long handled hand truck your crew admitted they’d left behind meant they had to take all the drawers from my furniture and spilled the contents of my dresser all over the stairwell. I could say more but surely you get the point. These issues were discussed with you by ohone shortly after the move. It is unwise that you continued to ask for my review. After the tenth email I decided to proceed with a review.

For both packing and the move… For both packing and the move everything went extremely well The crew arrived on time, were courteous and worked very efficiently. For the move itself the movers did their job and were very helpful and patient. Moved a rug 3 times, once after there was furniture on it. Cleaned out all packing material at completion. I have another move coming up in the next few months Intend to use Black Tie and will request the same crew

Moving experience was average at best Moving experience was average at best. Refrigerator stopped working after the move and the moving company dragged their feet towards finding any acceptable solution to he broken fridge. Workers seems a bit lax in their efforts. Literally took all day to move a limited amount of furniture even after all boxes were prepared and placed in front of house. I ended up having to rent a Uhaul afterwards because they didn’t finish the job like they said they would. Basically ended up costing me more money than necessary. Also had one of the movers show up, then leave shortly after arriving with no explanation. No back up provided. I ended up having to help the movers a lot more than your average help here and there. And I was paying them. The whole operation just seems quite unprofessional at their basic core. Gave them 3 stars instead of 2 just because they did work with me to reduce the cost of moving due to the limited crew. But then again, it took longer to move as well. Overall I would give them a C for a grade.
