Rude/Unprofessional movers I was not the customer, my neighbor was. The truck was pulled out, blocking the street. I could understand if there wasn't enough room on the driveway, but there was plenty of room. I told them they needed to move after waiting patiently for 5 minutes since I live in a court, and there is only one way in/out. The worker took issue with the fact that I didn't ask politely, and he took his time to move the truck. That was bad enough, but isn't worth this bad review. Then they moved it back to blocking the street. One of my other neighbors had the same experience a few minutes later, and they were talking back to her, and upset even though she was stuck, and couldn't leave our court because of them. They also mentioned to my neighbors that I had cursed at them, which was not true. At this point, there were a few neighbors gathering to talk about it (one of them was my spouse). They kept talking loudly/complaining about the situation, while continuing to move furniture, albeit now not blocking the road (plenty of room, by the way). I did call in to the company, and they said they would have someone call me back, but so far no call.

My experience with Black Tie Moving was… My experience with Black Tie Moving was amazing! I have a one bedroom apartment and had everything packed when they arrived. The team took extra caution with my fragile items. They were able to pack, drive to my new apartment and unload everything in under 2 hours! The price was reasonable, a lot cheaper than some other companies. I will definitely recommend them to others and I plan to be a customer again in the future.

Do NOT use this company My new home and my personal item were damaged. The moving team (2 men) was unprofessional. They spent time using their cell phones, they moved slowly at the second location, they left behind pieces that they took off of disassembled furniture and required me to bring/ keep up with other small pieces of disassembled furniture. Not to mention they argued with me about damages that I noticed instantly and told me that there was no way that he caused it.

Time lost, money spent The movers were willing to modify the plan when my life situation changed between scheduling the completing the move. However, due to the additional time required to complete the task, I strongly suggested the movers take a lunch break - they declined. When we had to make a second trip, they took at least 20 minutes longer than I did to return to the same location. I was asked to pay for the entire time in spite of this rather obvious delay. Additionally, as they were tired and hungry, the efficiency of the process significantly dropped toward the end, adding additional time and expense for me to the event.

These guys are so professional These guys are so professional. Kudos to Anthony, Myron, Tim and Lionel. They worked quickly and efficiently with no dawdling. And, so friendly and cordial. I loved how they all worked together so seamlessly as a team. SO nice and helpful to each other. Thank you guys for your professionalism and efficiency. This was a breeze due to your help. I will definitely use Black Tie Moving Services again and heartily recommend them to others. Dee
