We had been looking for an anniversary… We had been looking for an anniversary ring for a couple of years but could not find the perfect one anywhere at a price we could afford. We weren't planning on purchasing but when we visited Ashiv Diamonds Troy greeted us, offer us something to drink and showed us several different types of diamonds. We explained that we were not looking to purchase something so expensive but to his credit he stayed with us and continued to show us rings that he thought my wife might like. When he presented my wife with a stone of 2 carat anniversary ring my wife's face lit up and I new I was in trouble. Troy and Ashiv, worked with me to negotiate a price that I felt was extremely fair for a ring of this quality. Ashiv gave me a deal with the diamonds which really helped me a lot. At no time did I feel pressured by either of them and I felt that their sales techniques were professional and very friendly. I asked for a few minutes to speak with my wife alone and they immediately complied and went to the other side of the store. Once we agreed on the price they had the ring sized and ready to go in less than half an hour. Best in Customer Service! It will probably sound like I am making this up, but this is the pure truth. I was shown some beautiful diamonds when I visited Ashiv Diamonds, and after selecting one, we started looking into settings. Because of my budget, I was aiming for a smaller, white gold setting. Troy, at no extra charge, insisted on setting it in platinum for me, to ensure the diamond cut was set right. Great! Right? It gets better. When I came back the next day to pick up the ring, Troy had upgraded the setting yet again, at no extra cost, because delivering quality was far more important to him than making a dollar off me. He came out of his pocket roughly $500-1000. Folks, I cannot state how valuable of a trait this is in a business, and especially the jewelry world. This was one of the most wholesome gestures; he did this for me with no remorse-- purely out of kindness. Ashiv Diamonds is a very special place; I still cannot get over how wonderful of an experience this was. Lastly, I might add, that I bought a loose diamond and a separate setting and they managed to custom set and size it for me overnight and had it ready to go the next day, NOBODY in the diamond district would do this unless they had the piece already made. Ashiv Diamonds delivers on every level, customer service, price, quality, craftsmanship. The whole experience was wonderful. I can't thank them enough! And guess what? We recently came back to pick out our wedding bands. It was my first time visiting and personally felt at home and comfortable with everyone.
