About Vibroplex

A revolution in communcation occurred with the development of the telegraph. However, the early telegraph keys used to send messages caused severe strain on the telegrapher's wrist - a condition now known as carpal tunnel syndrome. In 1902, inventor Horace G. Martin patented the first in a line of devices which solved the problem: the Martin Autoplex, an electro-mechanical sending device which required batteries. Two years later, Martin went into business with a group of entrepreneurs, forming the United Electrical Manufacturing Company. It was also in 1904 that Martin filed his second patent for a new sending device which used a weighted, vibrating arm and did not require the use of a magnetic coil or batteries. This device was the basis for the first Vibroplex. In 1908, the association between Martin and U.E.M. ended when the latter went out of business. However, J.E. Albright, who began a business catering to the telephone industry in 1890, began marketing the Vibroplex for Martin. On March 12, 1915, Albright filed a certificate of incorporation in New York for The Vibroplex Company, Inc. Within a few short years, Vibroplex came to represent the best of the telegraphic, and later Amateur Radio, industry. Today, as in all of its proud history, the heritage of Vibroplex symbolizes the interest, camaraderie, and esprit de corps of the worldwide ham radio community.

I had such a nice experience with how… I had such a nice experience with how they handle the shipment process. You know, the usual manual stuff can be such a time-suck, and tracking can be a real headache. But when pros step in and get everything all organized, it's like a breath of fresh air. I get to kick back, relax, and enjoy the freedom! It's pretty awesome knowing that someone you trust has got a handle on a big part of the process. So, a big thank you!

My recent experience was a bit of a… My recent experience was a bit of a bumpy ride, and I'd rate it three stars. There was an urgent shipment, and although Mary, my account manager, initially promised a speedy delivery, it got delayed, and I had to bring in another Freight Forwarder to get it sorted.

I found their analytics tools pretty… I found their analytics tools pretty useful, and they've been a great help in managing my stock efficiently. However, I have to admit, the delivery aspect left something to be desired. Some items showed up in pretty beat-up boxes, and there were instance of delayed orders. I'd say if you're dealing with bulk orders, it's not too shabby, but for personalized, individual orders, it might not be the best fit.

My overall experience was cool My overall experience was cool, not like mind-blowing, just decent. But what's neat is how they've got all these features working together, and their managers are super friendly, which is a nice touch. I don't stress about deliveries anymore; it's all automated. Data goes straight from the site, labels pop out without me doing much, and returns? They handle that pretty well too. Plus, they've got warehouses all over, so I don't need to worry about stock. So yeah, I'd recommend them. They're doing a good job.
