A beautiful design. Well worth the time and money spent. Built up the shed on a packed gravel pad with a 6" circulation space. Insulated both beneath the floor and above the roof. Added a 7 ft. x 10 ft. wood deck in front of the shed which increased the utility of the shed. The site preparation, decking, the insulation, painting and roofing cost more than the shed. The precut wood parts fit like magic with plenty of extra parts which were used to augment the sidings. The assembly was quick and easy. The parts were easy to recognize from the drawings and the part ID labels. The style was modern and attractive. . Improvements are needed on the supplied hardware parts. The screws were weak and some of the locking hardware were not fitting well. Overall the whole project turned out just as planned and the results were quite satisfactory.

I love my Myrtle cottage garden shed I love my Myrtle garden shed! It is exactly what I wanted and looks exactly like the website photo. I was guided as to when it should ship to correspond with build time and there was no warped or damaged wood. The milled pieces went together easily as the tongue and groove milling was of the highest quality. The packaging was incredible, the shipping was incredible. The windows and doors are a snug fit. It would have been helpful to have the doors labeled inside/outside and top/bottom just for quicker installation. Two window trim pieces were missing after assembly and the company sent me the milled pieces within a week. Great shed, great project, great company to work with.

The only option for your detached oasis! Beautiful products, others out there in the same price range aren't even comparable. Easy and fun to assemble. The best customer service I have ever and probably will ever receive. Complete and prompt support in questions you have about building, excellent and personalized communication, arrived exactly when scheduled (to the hour). Mistakes do happen, there were some boards missing when we got our shed, but this wasn't even a problem. Solidbuild cut custom boards for us and got them out to us overnight on a weekend! If you are looking for a detached oasis there is really no other option.

Best backyard shed ever! Although this was one of the least expensive options I considered for a backyard studio, I really feel it was the best choice. I love the design of my California modern shed. The cute little scallop details are awesome. And it came standard with a lot of things that were $$$ add-ons at other companies, like windows that open and double French doors. I also love that it’s non-toxic and eco-friendly. It took a bit of work to get it installed (foundation, roof, paint) and you have to be aware that it’s a living structure and sort of moves a bit over time. But it’s so nice sitting inside and looking out through the double doors into my yard, while my dog guards my privacy lol. I’m glad I chose this company.
