Subcontractor payment issues... It’s unfortunate, but getting paid in the construction industry can be more of a challenge than the work itself. As a subcontractor navigating new industry changes (such as GC's claiming unconditional releases are "required" prior to payment) it is helpful to have access to legal remedies.
