Great service I had originally organised a survey to be done by another company but was let down last minute. I was recommended Hodgins Inspections by a colleague and after sending a message on their website, Matt was duly in touch and arranged for a survey to be done within a few days. Having looked round the house myself I noticed there were around 10 things that were really obvious. When the survey report was sent through the next day, there were 127 things raised, all documented with pictures. Obviously this was a bit deflating given that you really wouldn't expect that many faults with a new house, but I'm really thankful I got the survey done as although the builder I gave the report to did not seem very happy about it, they have started working through the problems. Dealing with Matt has been a pleasure from start to finish. Communication was great throughout and I received the report the day after the visit. Couldn't recommend Matt enough. Thank you.

I hadn't moved house in over 20years… I hadn't moved house in over 20years and had never had a new build. I was recommended to get this service as I had no idea what to look out for apart from any obvious problems/faults. Matt was very thorough and amenable. His report was detailed and with photos. The building company I passed a copy to have worked from it and discussed it with me. It has made me feel confident about my house and was worth every penny. I will recommend them to anyone.

We booked our survey/inspection with Hodgins New Home Inspections We booked our survey/inspection with Mat for the day after we received the keys to our new home. He is very personable and is very easy to talk to about any concerns that you have. On the day of the inspection he was there at the time agreed and started a thorough inspection immediately. His attention to detail is unbelievable and he identified problems that I would not have noticed. He produced a list of 162 faults, some very minor but quite a number which require attention asap. His report is very easy to read and I will be making arrangements to forward a copy to the builders. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any new home purchaser, as you then have the piece of mind that all faults have been identified and are awaiting action. Trevor
