GBThis company is a joke This company is a joke. They quoted me almost $10,000 more than several other companies. It's laughable. Anyone that uses them should have their head examined

GBAC installation During the recent heat wave here in Chicago my old AC finally gave way. Had Four Seasons out for a replacement, but the tech was also kind enough to quote a repair to get u back up and running if we wanted. Decided to go with replacementt...why throw good money into a 25+ year AC. overall, good experience. Came on time, got started and were done within 4 hours. Just felt really bad as it was still hot, so I encouraged the guys to take breaks and provided water. Will recommend

GBCleaning up should be part of their job It was so annoying that the installers just left all the trash in the area. The company should train their people with basic courtesy and respect and clean up after and make it a part of their job. I was already surprised by how impolite they were upon arriving but I let it go as long as they do their job right.

GBBuyer Beware I have two furnaces in my home - one that heats the upstairs and a bigger one that heats the lower level. I only wanted the upstairs furnace cleaned and the downstairs furnace to be looked at because it was being wonky. I called Four Seasons Heating and Cooling and scheduled an appointment shortly before Thanksgiving. When the technician arrived, I showed him the lay of the land, told him the issues, and left him downstairs to look over the furnace (big mistake.) When he was done with his analysis he gave me this long spiel and showed me things that were wrong and that he could "pass" the furnace but "just barely." Whatever he did, and I didn't ask, the furnace was working. He didn't tell me about any parts that needed to be replaced, so I figured that it would just be added to the service fee. (The kicker to this is at the end of the story.) We then launched into a discussion about the furnace and its age and that at some point I probably would need to get a new furnace and if I did I would just get both upstairs and downstairs replaced to save on labor costs. We also discussed costs of new furnaces etc., just so I could get an idea of what to expect when the time came in the future. And funny enough while we were having a discussion about the furnace, the sales guy called to see how everything was going. It did raise a little bit a warning bell in my mind, but by that point, the hook was already in, and the technician told me that the sales department just likes to check up on service calls as part of their customer service program. When he went upstairs to "clean" my furnace, he took the whole thing apart - the furnace's guts were all over the hallway, in other words. And by that time, I already stupidly trusted the guy. When he was done with his analysis of the upstairs furnace, he told me I needed to have some parts replaced and it was going to cost a little over $700. Now, mind you, I only wanted it cleaned but his super extra detailed inspection revealed that all these things needed to be replaced. So, instead of spending $700, and because I figured I was going to have to get the downstairs furnace replaced anyway, I thought we should just get two new furnaces. I'm not going to get into the disaster of the financing and it doesn't matter if we couldn't get approved for the financing "they" wanted. In fact, it's a blessing that we didn't. At some point while the technician was still here, the downstairs furnace kicked off but it never kicked back on after the guy left. But he did go back downstairs to gather up his things before he left after the quick financing didn't go through while he was still here (that's another story for another day - the point of this is he went back downstairs.) As it turns out, we didn't need two new furnaces at $10,985 (upstairs) and $13,535 (downstairs) with some discounts that brought the total price down to $22,530. Several weeks later, I called another company and told them I needed the downstairs furnace looked at because it was wonky and the upstairs furnace cleaned (because Four Seasons never cleaned that furnace,) just like I told Four Seasons. This guy came out and fixed my downstairs furnace. And he figured it out in about a half hour. It could've been the entire motor that would had to have been replaced, but instead, it was the part that ignites the motor (capacitor) that was malfunctioning. In fact, it was completely dead. He replaced it and the furnace works perfectly. How much was this part? $28. He also told me there was another good 4-5 years on the furnace. And as far as the upstairs furnace? He inspected it, cleaned it, and it's working perfectly fine as well. And he didn't have to dissect the furnace and put all of its guts down the hallway. He also put in a new filter on my humidifier and new filters in both furnaces, something Four Seasons didn't do because they didn't carry filters. My total bill was $207. Big difference between 22 grand and 200 bucks. I find it hard to believe that the "thorough inspection" of that downstairs unit by Four Seasons Heating and Cooling wouldn't have revealed that the furnace had a faulty capacitor especially after the Four Seasons technician brought me down there and gave me this long demonstration of various things that were wrong with my furnace and then proceed to tell me that although he would pass it, he strongly suggested I get additional carbon monoxide detectors. I was going to start this review by saying if there was a company that exemplified fraudulent and deceptive practices it would be Four Seasons Heating and Cooling but I think it's more apropos to put it at the end of the story. There are many other things I could list about my experience with this company but I think what I've described above suffices.

GBWorst company ever Worst company ever. I scheduled a furnace service and the guy said I had to reschedule because it was DRIZZLING rain. Not even a steady rain. He was rude and didn’t care about the inconvenience. I overhauled my work schedule to accommodate this company and he didn’t care. I have never had that issue with any other servicing company. This is the worst heating servic company I have dealt with and I will never use them again.
