Excellent and affordable control system that checks all the boxes! While in the market for a hydroponic monitor/controller, I came across the eGrowr system on kickstarter. I must say at first glance, the eGrowr system checked all the boxes in what I was looking for with a reasonable price tag. I am an in-house hydroponics hobbyist and i do not have the money or need for some of the commercial hydroponic control units i came across. This system offers the flexibility to go as small or as large as you need, all in a compact yet very versatile package. I also was very interested in the smartphone app capability and ease of programming. So far i have been running the base unit for 5 months and have just upgraded to the control unit [ which is currently in beta testing ] and i cant be happier. Customer support has also been fantastic. I have had multiple conversations with the team and they were helpful and responsive every time. This system does everything it says it does and does it well.

In this journey I came to learn about the wonderful land of VPD land you want yourself and your plants in. I needed help help with all the variables that come up in the garden. But not only keeping the VPD dialled in I found how important are the areas where like the PH in my reservoir in the temperature and EC off my water. I found the Egrowr and offered me all of this and more I mean more like even light intensity readings. What school is the geyser really helpful and got me set up in real time in no time. Pssst One of my favourite features is I can check in on the garden while I’m in a meeting at work or if there’s a nag going on in my ear🤣 Very happy so far and more importantly the gardens humming along and growing 💯💪🏻

Happy I couldn’t find any affordable and modular controller for my plants (there are only very expensive solutions on the market) and finally contacted the egrower team. They were very responsive and professional. I decided to buy the monitor along with the controller. Since then, no problem. The monitor works smoothly and the controller is sometimes not visible when I connect but always appear after few minutes. The team is working on a new firmware to solve it. It is not a big company so they are very reactive. I communicated about the issue and they started working on a fix right after. That’s cool. Anyway, I recommend this brand and company. Go ahead if you need a solid monitoring and control setup.
