Keeps a crisp clean edge, stops the Bermuda from creeping into the mulch, and provides a track for my edger, making trimming a breeze. I used to spend hours pulling the Bermuda out of the beds. Now, it only takes 30 seconds with an edger! The edges are sharp, but with the rubber protector, I have no worries about our dogs feet or our 3 year old getting hurt.
