GBLousy and Unfair Customer Returns Process! Lousy customer returns process. The on/off button on our newly purchased Envi heater remained depressed and permanently stuck in the ON position. I contacted eHeat using their web form to no avail, so I finally called. The rep wanted me to return the heater before they would send a replacement. When I protested that this would mean our room woutd be heat-less until we rec'd a replacement heater - because of a FLAW IN THE PRODUCT, he offered to ship the replacement after we showed proof of mailing the malfunctioning product. That still means days of being heat-less (in the TV room where we installed the Envi) until we receive the replacement. That seems really UNFAIR for something that isn't our fault but the result of a MALFUNCTION IN THE ENVI PRODUCT.

GBStill no product and Bait and Switch service I am getting a total run around from the support team. I called directly before ordering the Wi-Fi units to assure I would have my units by specified time since putting my house on the market. I was very clear that I had to have heaters in these rooms before I could do so. They assured would ship at end of Jan so I placed order solely on that info. Then when I checked in end of Jan since no status on shipping they told me I was in queue for mid / end of Feb. We are now at end of Feb and still nothing and still no firm date and no updates from eheat. ONLY when I threatened to write a review and file a complaint I got, “ I am up next in queue”. Of course still no firm ship date on that either so can’t even schedule my electrician. Basically they are floating my money and waiting to deliver the products ( if they ever do) when warmer so you can’t really test the product correctly. Not impressed with service thus far. Update - when I told support that it sounded like I needed to write a review to warn people and cancel order they just canceled the order. Poof!! No sorry we screwed up and lied, nothing. So they have floated my money for two months, and I paid for shipping for nothing. I had read that eheat’ support was bad and now I know why.

GBTerrible customer service Terrible customer service. On hold incessantly. Heaters lost by FedEx. Spent 4 hours of my life trying to find them. They did not care. Sent me wrong hold address location. Happy to refund me only because they refused to pay for overnight shipping on new ones. Total nightmare. No empathy robot people. Hours of my life wasted. I would like to have reviewed the heaters but hey. God knows where they are weeks later.

GBThe heaters are easy to install, perform well The heaters are easy to install and work great! They heat up a medium sized bedroom - boosting a single, challenged, old fashioned forced air heating duct upstairs in my 1909 house. I've installed a plug-in unit in all three bedrooms and everyone loves them. They are not hot to the touch on the front panels. For reference, where I live it gets down to freezing outside but usually is in the 40s F. As you can guess, this old house has limited insulation. I didn't give 5 stars because pre-sales tech support was not very knowledgable at the time I ordered my first units, last year. However, all questions were answered by good instructions included with heater.

GBWe installed two plug in wall heaters… We installed two plug in wall heaters in a new small woodworking shop. While they do not have sufficient heat to rapidly heat up the space, we find the steady heat they produce keeps the space quite warm, even when the outside temp is below 0 degree F. We then use a larger electric heater to bring the room up to working temps (60-65F), and then let the wall heaters sustain that level throughout the day. Easy to install, safe to operate, easy to clean.
