More consistent and detailed product documentation. A more consistent approach to providing documentation on products would be appreciated. Adafruit product documentation always follows the same format and is more detailed, hence I like them better.

Great experience with Sparkfun My experience with Sparkfun is so good because they always have excellent tutorials and code examples for the gear I buy from them. Although my applications are often unique, their stuff is practically plug and play.

Excellent site for the Hobbyist Carries a wide range of parts for the hobbyist that can be difficult to get or find elsewhere. Good documentation and information on parts. Like the weekly emails with new parts or sales; often inspires new projects or applications.

SparkFun is my preferred parts and… SparkFun is my preferred parts and component supplier. Part of the goodness comes from the fact that I can get stuff in a day or two (I live in Arvada Colorado). My only complaint is occasionally they'll use a complex part whose manual is covered under an NDA from the manufacturer. This makes it difficult to impossible to open source my code that uses it.
