GBPonoma Steel - beauty and endurance Ponoma Steel has wide range of options, styles, and colors. We placed a special order with 2" radius curved corners which came well packed and on time. It installed in minutes for me (experienced home owner). Be careful of over-tightening and warping the mount. The fit and finish was excellent and it made a fantastic mantle shelf above our linear gas fireplace. Its non-combustable with 1200 deg paint so it should last. It looks great and protects the art works above it from direct heat.

GBThe extra cost for painting is… The extra cost for painting is astronomical. They should supply self-tapping sheet metal screws to attach the mantle to the mantle bracket because the holes don't line up. Other than that, it's a nice product and added the look and protection we wanted on our fireplace/tv.
