ControlOMatic is an American manufacturer of award-winning saltwater chlorine generators for hot tubs, swim spas and pools. Its product line of controller-operated generators allows customers to convert nearly any spa into a saltwater system. These devices generate chlorine or bromine for water sanitization, and some models offer the additional option of a chlorine and bromine sensor, allowing them to activate automatically when low levels are detected. The newest generator is the SmarterSpa+, which includes a dedicated mobile app. This makes it capable of operating the device remotely via Bluetooth, or from anywhere in the world via Wi-Fi. ControlOMatic also manufactures a similar line of products under the NatureChlor brand, which are used for making Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl).
