We may be fascinated by the importance of lasers today as we are surrounded by things that are a by-product of laser application. The history of the company dates back to 1989 with the setting up of a base factory in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. For the first time in India, it has introduced a laser system for the diamond industry. Since then, it has been instrumental in bringing a revolution in the industrial development of India. Upon consistent R&D, it has emerged as the world's largest manufacturer of CNC laser systems for the Diamond industry since 1995. The company has ventured into industrial applications and other laser material processing. Being a frontrunner for the CNC laser systems in India, it is now marching towards global ventures. SLTL began operations by fundamentally manufacturing CNC wood cutting machines and diamond processing units. In 2003, the efforts of the in-house R&D team made history by innovating the world’s first fiber laser cutting application. Earlier, fiber optics (laser) was used in telecommunications. The overall operating cost of the sheet metal forming was bottom low compared to conventional technologies available in the market. That saw the New Era of Productivity. The company owned the patent for the first fiber laser cutting machine in the year of 2007. Continuing the vision of innovation, the Group along with the team of technical experts thrives on bringing in new innovations each and every year, and formulated the solutions meeting industrial needs. With a range of solutions for high power and low power, the Group today stands tall with a family of 650 employees working in their respective teams.
