GBGood tutors. Fix the video interaction tool Tutors are usually awesome and patient. But they’ve struggled with the technology interface, specifically the video chat feature that they replaced zoom with. For 4 straight classes we spent 15 minutes just trying to get the video working. Hope the can get that straightened out.

GBA good idea with bad execution The rollout of their latest KidScript version was a complete disaster. It wasn’t backward compatible with the previous version meaning your previous games no longer worked. Plus the new version is extremely laggy and uses all the resources of your computer until it either crashes or burns up. Kids are extremely frustrated and the guides spend the lesson time just cleaning up the mess. I’ve also had extremely different experiences with different guides. Some really know what they’re doing - they’re good with the kids and can actually help them solve complex coding issues instead of just copying and pasting the missions. Others don’t know the answer to basic things and promise to follow up but don’t (chances are they won’t be assigned for subsequent lessons). The kids do enjoy the program but with all the glitches and frustrations the lessons end up being a waste of time. Too bad.

GBThe Codeverse trainer is knowledgeable and patient I recently enrolled my seven-year-old in Codeverse. I find that the Codeverse team are very considerate and patient with my son. This was a major criterion for me while searching for a coding platform. His trainer is very knowledgeable and seems to know how to keep my son focused on the process. I love the Codeverse platform because it is introducing my son to the concept of actually writing some form of coding. Most of all, he is excited and looks forward to meeting with his trainer.

GBGreat place to bring out the coder in you If your kids are interested or you want them to generate interest then this is the place to start, their platform is designed for kids to learn the basics and build on logical thinking. The small milestones and the project showcases they have keeps the kids going and something to look for. The flexibility with scheduling is also great, 1-1 is cherry on the cake.

GBCodeverse is a wonderful teaching platform. Codeverse is an incredible opportunity for kids ages 8-13 to learn coding. The instructors are a combination of patient tutor and clever software engineer. The development environment is browser-based so there is zero setup required. The games the students make are so cute and clever, and it’s rewarding to see the sense of accomplishment kids have when they’re done.
