GBWonderful coaching experience! I started with the one-to-one coaching with Winton Churchill back in June to currently, and it has been a wonderful, enlightening experience. Winton has been very helpful and great at the details of what a free-lancer might need to have that extra edge in getting their proposals accepted. I have learned so much, and he is very patient while going through the process. I actually had my first 2 proposals accepted, which is unusual I know, but I don't think I would've been that lucky without Winton's guidance throughout the process. The Tuesday evening freelance webinars have been a nice addition to the coaching as I still learn more each time and reinforce what I've already learned as well. If you want to be a successful freelancer, definitely go the extra step in doing the coaching, or at least the weekly Tuesday night webinars.

GBSkipped the guesswork The best part about Barefoot Consultants is that I didn’t have to figure out freelancing on my own. Many of the questions at the beginning of any new business such as ‘what do I sell?’, ‘whom do I sell it to?’, ‘how much to charge?’, and many more were already answered with the test of time and the testament of success. The simple proven winning formula was literally laid over the top of skills I already possess which were so kindly and carefully uncovered by my certified coach. Had I known that I would have such a competent guide to help me move through this time of transition from my previous careers, work and life experiences, into being my own boss, creating my own hours and literally showing me how I can work anywhere I can get an internet connection, I would have paid double and started 5 years sooner.

GBProvides helpful information for free… Provides helpful information for free lancers and provides information on best practices to follow and information on pitfalls and what should ring alarm bells about the prospective client. From what I garher, one part is still not very fleshed out for the newbies on how their lifetime experience relates to a marketable skill set post retirement in a fast changing tech environment. Many with long years of experience do not possess the degrees or certificates rquired. For example, many people have worked as Project Managers over a long period of time with a company but never needed to acquire the PMP certification. Actually when they starting managing projects, even large ones, there was no PMP and certifications.

GB"Jumpstart" Says It All! A half-dozen times I've started to become a freelancer--"started" meaning I was enthusiastic about it, did a little research on it, thought it a perfect fit--and there it lay. Year after year. I don't know if God answers my prayers in particular but when I recently pleaded for a guide and catalyst, along came Winton Churchill! As a coach he is the perfect blend of patience, conviviality and VAST knowledge. Barefoot Consultants have honed a proven Jumpstart system that helps the over-50 crowd uncover skills and wisdom they'd forgotten they had. I got the jump start I needed-- and would NEVER have accomplished by myself. Am now heading into an exciting new career, deeply grateful.
