Completing the FAFSA on your own is CRAZY! My husband and I attempted to complete the FAFSA on our own the first time and were so stressed thinking we weren't completing it correctly. A friend suggested we call the College Planning Center to go over our questions and since then we have completed our FAFSA with someone from the CPC for both our daughter and son's 4 years of college. They are so knowledgeable and helpful and efficient! We just completed what could potentially be our last FAFSA over a 20 minute phone call! Anyone NOT using the College Planning Center is CRAZY! Save yourself the time and energy- they know what they're doing!

Painfully Slow & Outdated Painfully Slow & Outdated We received our approval on Feb 27, 2024. It is now Mar 25th and the loans from Mohela still have not been paid off. RISLA sent a CHECK!! A check? Are you kidding me? Is this 1995? Outdated process and obnoxiously slow in a modern banking world. I'm surprised they didn't ask for us to fax in information.

Every person I have worked with has been professional, efficient, and helpful. When the meeting is over, I feel confident that everything has been done correctly and I can now check that item off my to-do list.
