About ai-camp.org

Founded by Stanford Ph.Ds, AI Camp (www.ai-camp.org) teaches the future of technology to middle and high school students, training them to become professionals, and placing the best to work for top technology companies. We aim to establish a different kind of higher education, one where students learn valuable knowledge and skills at work while avoiding crippling student debt. We want to return education to the apprenticeship model (learn-by-doing) that has worked for thousands of years. Our students craft impressive AI products with real-world applications, all of which are valuable additions to their resume and college application portfolio. We firmly believe that AI holds the key to the future, and we're committed to ensuring every student receives a comprehensive education in this transformative technology. Our mission is to open doors for our students and equip them to overcome any obstacles that come their way. We are only as great as the doors we open.

Join this camp! Initially, I was skeptical whether this camp could be helpful (I was recommended by my school). It seemed sketchy. But I have to say, joining this camp is one of the best experiences I've ever had (I managed to get a full scholarship. There is a very high price, but plenty scholarship opportunities. Even if you can't get a scholarship it is honestly worth it). With all the knowledge I've gained about pygames, I created 2 games (snake, flappy bird) from scratch to become more aware of how everything works. I heavily recommend this. I learned so much within 5 days. I progressed from understanding very little code to developing games. The teachers were funny and kind and taught me so much. There's a great community. Join this camp!!!! You won't regret it!

Amazing Learning Experience I had so much fun with this AI camp, from learning to work in a team, to creating a full product from beginning to end, and learning about NLP in ways I can apply to other projects. This was truly worth the time and money spent in this camp, and if you are even slightly interested in AI I would highly recommend this.

The three week stage 2 course was cool, I had a fun time. I think the actual camp was good and it taught me a lot about AI and machine learning and especially computer vision. The teachers are nice and the camp overall has a nice atmosphere. Now ignore the rest of this review if you are genuinely looking for advice on the camp. First of all, I would like to thank our lord and savior, Lupus. I would also like to thank my groupmate Carter for introducing us to the soundboard in discord and causing irreparable damage. I would like to not thank someone who will not be named (if you were there you would know) for not doing ANYTHING. I would also like to thank the rest of the group for being nice and fun to hang around with!

This camp was so much fun, I will miss everyone! It was an amazing experience at AI Camp. When I first started it, I honestly wasn't really sure what is going on and whether I had prepared myself enough for the camp, but I shouldn't have needed to stress because the camp accommodates anyone with any kind of coding experience or knowledge about AI. By the end of the 3 weeks, I felt so proud of our CV project and our website. I honestly had no idea I would be able to create anything close to what we created in the end. The knowledge I gained in these 3 weeks of experience will not go to waste because I will put it to good use for my future projects. Shout out to the Diamond Dragons and our mentor Zhong Zheng!

Fun Experience It was generally a really fun experience, I learned how to code things I didn't know before, and made some great friends along the way! During the first couple of days it can be difficult to understand what the instructors are saying because of their accents, but after that you get used to it.
