Going abroad has been fantastic… My experience abroad has been fantastic and something I’ll always remember. All of the supervisors and staff have been a great help throughout the entire process. Getting to know the other abroad students has also been amazing and I now have connections for life I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Through all of the trips we made and the experiences I got through my internship, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and the memories I’ve made here. I think the program was well worth it and I honestly can’t think of anything I’d really change :)

My experience with AIFS was amazing! My experience with AIFS was amazing! I took an introduction to painting class in Florence and had the best professor. Every weekend trip that AIFS took us on was 100% worth the 19,000 steps a day😂. I decided to study abroad because I wanted to get out into the world and have an adventure and with AIFS I definitely had one. I wish I had the time to study abroad again with them.

Really helpful and welcoming The company was amazing in helping me feel welcomed and accepted into a new country. They provided resources that were really helpful throughout my stay and I believe that without them I would've been kinda lost on where to go and how to go about things.

Amazing experience in Salamanca Everything the program did for us was great. The tours, the welcome and farewell meal along with the activities was a good way to welcome everyone and get to know our program director and mates. The information provided about the environment we was getting into was helpful to have out expectations set. The way we got merge into the culture, homestays for example, was good to know how the life in Spain is. I think that overall the program did a great job bringing their students to a complete unknown country.

Berlin Fall Semester 2023 Berlin is a really wonderful and historic city to live in. My German is basically nonexistent and I still felt like I was able to get around fine. The AIFs staff are very supportive, and the organized actives were well structured and thought out. If you weren’t interested in some or all of the activities, you didn’t have to participate and there was plenty of time to do your own thing around Berlin or travel throughout Europe. I didn’t particularly enjoy my academic experience at Humboldt, there were a few good classes but also a few really awful ones. So, if I could do it again I would probably do the AIFS program with Freie Universität academic program.
