GBWaste of money Gave me way too much work over a short period of time so I got really burnt out and couldn't take practice tests at all. Doing practice in sections other than math really didnt help with time management, in fact probably made it worse. I did improve from my first practice test until my actual test, but i attribute none of that improvement to PrepScholar. The only thing it helped with was reviewing geometry equations.

GBDiligence is key My son loves the video lessons. They are very targeted, well explained and the following questions give good practice. He took the first practice test and did much better than his diagnostic. He had dedicated 6 hours a week for PrepScholar and does it diligently.

GBMeh. Not impressed We tried PrepScholar with both of our kids. With my first, she said the program kept telling her that she needed to do practice tests. She kept taking practice tests.. and that was it. I asked for help from PrepScholar but only got an email saying that it's a great program, and she needs to keep working. She could work for hours and get no credit. It's easy to not pay a money-back guarantee when you control the conditions and can make fulfilling those conditions impossible. By studying free videos on the internet, she was able to get more help and improved her score by about 40 points. With my second, I'm more involved. I thought this would help me understand the program more as I'm walking through it with him. Maybe my first just.. didn't use the program properly. He hasn't been given any practice SATs yet, but he could spend an hour on a lesson and be given credit for 0.6 hours. At this point, we don't care about refunds, just help with the SAT please. Control over your learning and the settings is weird. I can't figure out how to change things like 'goal number of hours to study a week.' All in all, as an educator and a programmer, I'm not impressed. The price is too high for the level of instruction that I'm seeing. tldr; Meh. Try it if you want but know that you won't get your money back. If you throw $400 at it, spend it like you are lending it to that cousin you know will never pay you back.. just let it go.

GBLoved the Customization One of the things that sets PrepScholar apart from other online learning courses is its focus on personalization. The platform uses algorithms to make a customized study plan for each student, taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. This helps students to make the most of their study time and see real progress in their test scores. For me this was my biggest advantage I got from using Prepscholar.

GBGreat Guidance! My son worked on his essay with Claire Gerety-Mott. Claire guided him so well that he ended up writing an excellent essay, which we believe helped him get into 10 universities. We are very happy with PrepScholar and would highly recommend Claire!
