Not a fan of the format of some of the written materials, but still good - better digital form would have helped a lot, and maybe a cross-reference structure between overlapping ideas

Got me across the finish line Got me across the finish line. Got me prepared with the lectures I needed and pretty good practice questions. Essays for Virginia were good, and appreciated the use of old essays, although I still used a supplemental course specific for Va essays. Mbe questions were good although they were different than the ones I got on test day (not sure why this was). Overall a good experience.

One stop shop The format of the study materials was very helpful. I have no complaints at all and could not have passed without Barbri’s guidance. I did not use outside materials to study (such as Adaptibar); I only used Barbri and I passed the California bar on my first try. That being said, whether you utilize all Barbri has to offer is up to you and your dedication to passing on your first try.

Good Enough (Passed) But Could Improve There are only so many ways to present the material. Some people prefer flow charts, mnemonics, whatever. My principal complaint concerns the lecturers. Some of them have no business being part of a program I paid almost 3K. The good: civ pro, contracts, torts, community property, OK: corps, agency/partnership The awful: Con law, crim law/crim pro, wills, trusts, evidence. I did like the "micro" essays embedded in some of the lectures. You should expand on those. The MBE materials were fine. Everybody complained about the Feb. administration; it didn't matter if they used Adaptibar, Uworld, or other.

THANK YOU BARBRI! With the 40-week prep course, I was able to pass the exam on my first attempt. Coming from a non-legal background, SQE is my first legal exam. All the knowledge required was new to me. I like BARBRI's approach to answering the question and the learning materials. I submitted many substantive questions and I appreciate BARBRI answering all of them in detail. AGAIN, THANK YOU!
