Thank you Barbri! I’ve studied a 40-week course for SQE1 with Barbri. I passed both parts of the exam on the first attempt and I’m extremely grateful to Barbri. I really appreciated the personal study plan, unlimited access to great personal tutors, opportunities to ask questions and paper copies of the book. I will surely continue my education with them. Good Enough (Passed) But Could Improve There are only so many ways to present the material. Some people prefer flow charts, mnemonics, whatever. My principal complaint concerns the lecturers. Some of them have no business being part of a program I paid almost 3K. The good: civ pro, contracts, torts, community property, OK: corps, agency/partnership The awful: Con law, crim law/crim pro, wills, trusts, evidence. I did like the "micro" essays embedded in some of the lectures. You should expand on those. The MBE materials were fine. Everybody complained about the Feb. administration; it didn't matter if they used Adaptibar, Uworld, or other.

Essays for Virginia were good, and appreciated the use of old essays, although I still used a supplemental course specific for Va essays. Mbe questions were good although they were different than the ones I got on test day (not sure why this was). Overall a good experience.

Super disappointed Super disappointed. I work full time and wanted to start early so I prepaid for the entire course and only then did they tell me they would not mail the materials for almost two months. When i did receive the materials they are so riddled with errors, five sections have digital notes because the printed versions were not updated prior to printing. There are even typos in the chapter headings. The printing quality sucks you can hardly read the graphs and charts. And the answers for the essays that you use for self grading actually misquote the facts from the fact pattern. The time log is constantly inaccurate, requiring me to go back and once again mark as complete assignments I have already completed. I am unbelievably frustrated. I am so sorry I went with Barbri. It is way too expensive to have all of these errors and distractions.

Law made easy! I did the SQE1 prep course with Barbri, and I passed on my first sitting! I had not studied law before and I do not work in a firm. Barbri offers so much support, and the teaching style helped me overcome my fears. The language is very accessible. This is the "law for dummies" reassurance I was looking for!
