My kids also enjoy being able to connect with other kids around the world. I enjoy the ease of the parental portal, and being able to reassign lessons that child may be struggling with. It's been a great overall experience.

Believe the comments referring to… Believe the comments referring to questionable practices aimed at race and gender. This company is biased towards their subscribers and employees. You can see this when you look at the staff. I'm just saying. I would proceed with this company with caution.

I signed up with them under the… I signed up with them under the impression it was free. Then they charged my account for a year with zero notification of the price change. I used the service for a few months with zero notification of being charged or that it costed money. Then noticed a year later they were charging me. They found no pity and we're not helpful at all. Saying oh sorry you are out of luck and didn't refund me but one month!!! Very disappointed and unsatisfied. I definitely do not recommend! It wasn't even worth it if it was free!!! Don't know waste your money!!!

My decision at homeschool was sudden… My decision at homeschool was sudden and I didn't know where to start. I decided to try Mia academy because their platform was easy to use, have a social media platform for the students, allows me to set the grades, and to easily print reports for report cards and record keeping. It has been a success because ultimately my daughter loves the classroom. She knows exactly what courses to do that day. She is rewarded with coins which she can use in the social media platform part of the Mia academy to shop. She also has the option to play games with the other Mia academy students, also there is entrepreneurship where students can buy and sell their art. There are a lot of electives to choose from a long with the core subjects. My daughter is active in clubs and baseball and I can tailor how many assignments and which courses to do in a week dependent on our schedule. We have had the best experience with Mia academy. We will continue with me a prep unless my daughter goes to a brick and mortar high School. However, Mia academy is great for additional education as well even if students are in school, they have subject practice available. I highly recommend Mia academy!
