10+ stars for John Cho I did GRE private tutoring with John Cho and highly recommend him. John was an incredibly thoughtful and creative instructor and made every minute of our tutorials count. His sessions were well structured. We covered all content and strategy areas but he also offered helpful feedback on the ones I should prioritize based on his assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. I hit a wall in my studies about halfway through and struggled to maintain confidence that I could reach my test goals and more specifically, improve my quant score. John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).

Instructor was Great Instructor was punctual and tweaked each lesson to fit our needs as a class. He was very patient with our learning abilities and while he implemented the Socratic method, he did so in a way that made us all feel comfortable and not judged. He provided thorough and well thought out explanations for all our questions. He helped me achieve a score that got me accepted into a great law school with scholarship.

Very Helpful GMAT Focus Prep Course I took the GMAT prep course with Daniel. Daniel is an amazing teacher, he took the time to set expectations, walk us through concepts and practice problems, and encourage us along the way. The class was a mix of small group and full-class discussions, with Daniel periodically monitoring the former and lecturing in the latter. This approach gave students with varying learning styles the best of both worlds. It also ensured that students maintained focus throughout the class; they were either solving problems, explaining their reasoning to other students, or listening to other students (and eventually Daniel) explain the solutions. He is also accessible via email.

I would highly recommend Manhattan Prep… I would highly recommend Manhattan Prep for GMAT tutoring. Josh was extremely knowledgable and knew the exam back to front. In the 4 months I was working with him, my score improved 140 points. I only took the test once and my ultimate score was higher than my outside goal at the beginning of the course. Josh did a great job of assigning work and relevant practice problems. We were able to hone in on specific skills that I needed to work on. Breaking up the test made it a lot more manageable and I really appreciated the structure. I've recommended Manhattan Prep to many friends and coworkers looking to study for the GMAT and truly think it is the best decision to get through this phase!

Master Tutor Gregg is a phenomenal tutor. He is brilliant and finds joy in almost all GRE problems, making it easy to motivate to study and learn. He has a unique teaching style that helped me improve my scored from the low 300s to a 320+. He is encouraging, while also keeping students honest in their studies. While the Manhattan Prep materials are excellent in and of themselves, Gregg added incredible value with multiple permutations of each lesson to ensure I understood the material. If you are thinking about taking the GRE, Gregg is an elite choice.
