Helped my daughter. Prompt helped my daughter organize her thoughts, her writing and create a timeline for completion. Her coach Leigh was excellent in helping my daughter create, edit and perfect her many essays.

Highly recommend Prompt… Our son worked with a Prompt tutor on his Common App essay as well as all of his supplemental college essays. He was accepted to his first choice college and he thinks Prompt’s help was a major factor in his acceptance! The tutor was professional, quick to respond, detailed in her suggestions, and made the entire process easy for our son. We were thrilled with the whole process, and plan to use Prompt again when our daughter applies to college. We highly recommend using Prompt!

Video calls could be scheduled when I needed it, so everything was so flexible for time, yet they still kept me on the timeline that I specifically requested. Just Meh. Overpriced and not a good outcome. So, for the $, the essay quality was just ok. They let my son write 2 essays on the UC common app that were not even answering the prompt. One was about a hardship and how it was academically challenging, etc. and the topic they helped him pick was not academic at all. In the end I sat with him for hours afterwords and reworked all his essays. We changed 2 completely and revised heavily the rest. For the $, I would not do it again. He got into some good schools, but I'm sure the Prompt essays would have hurt him and I'm thrilled at what we did on our own.

Focus for Hesitant Writer My son hesitated to begin his Common App personal statement and lacked focus with the suggested prompts. Monica's intake interview was very insightful. Within the first hour, she walked him through several options and helped him select a narrative he felt excited to write about. After only a few email exchanges, his essay was complete. He was accepted to all the schools where he applied and invited to several scholar programs. It's completely worth the investment!
