Counselor extraordinaire…. Mr. Medure helped my daughter get into UPenn, her dream school. My daughter picked Mr. Medure after meeting with two other counselors as she felt that Mr. Medure would provide her help and guidance she needed. He took a lot of stress off my daughter (and us in turn). He kept my daughter motivated and on track. Her whole college application process was seamlessly integrated into her high school fall semester with meetings once a week, thanks to Mr. Medure. He diligently reviewed every essay that my daughter submitted and provided excellent and honest feedback in a very constructive way. He has a lot of knowledge and expertise in the college application process and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great counselor to guide them through this process.

Sharukh is a Knowledgeable and Dedicated Counselor They are very good at counseling! Especially Sharukh. Sharukh would often pick up late night calls and answer texts about questions (All of these did not count towards billed hours), and he is very supportive and honest towards his students' goals and aspirations.

An Incredible Resource! Empowerly was an incredible resource during my high school planning and college application process. I have been with Empowerly since my freshman year of high school, and my counselors Brooke and Raisa were extremely helpful when it came to navigating everything from high school course planning to summer program opportunities to college applications. The college application process would have been very overwhelming, but my counselors’ support in brainstorming and planning my essays, alongside Empowerly’s amazing essay-editing team, was a tremendous help and made the process so much less burdensome. I am currently a senior and will be attending my dream school in the fall, and I can confidently say that Empowerly helped me achieve that!

Joyce Smith and Empowerly are wonderful The resources available at Empowerly are very helpful, but my favorite part about this program is the honesty that everyone in this program works with. My counselor Mrs. Joyce Smith is amazing at picking apart her students and finding their strengths that colleges will fight for. She will tell you when an essay is not working well or where your application is lacking, but when she compliments your work, you know that she genuinely means it. In my past experiences, many tend to sugarcoat, but honesty like hers are what will get students into competitive universities. I have received acceptances into honors programs at UT Austin, Pomona College, and top scholarships to TCU with her help.

Ben is a counselor that always puts in the effort for his students! Ben take the time to look over essays, schools and different methods to make sure that getting into college is an achievable task! I recommend him if you need a counselor and is someone that could benefit you a lot!
