I found Sean Studies in June 2019 after… I found Sean Studies in June 2019 after I took my first MCAT and wasn't happy with the result. Sean was actually my tutor and I couldn't have asked for a better situation. He created a study plan suited just for me, as I am in my senior year with a very full plate. I was always able to check in with him for advice and support during the study process. I received my results yesterday from the January test and my score increased 10 points. I couldn't be more thrilled . I highly recommend Sean and his company if you want a personal expereince with your MCAT prep.

I’ve never felt more comfortable… I’ve never felt more comfortable approaching science passage questions and answers before using the techniques Sean taught. I’m getting so much more questions right using the 50/50 and content/relevancy methods explained in his course.

I attended the Live 5-Hour Mcat Science… I attended the Live 5-Hour Mcat Science Strategy workshop and I can't describe how excellent this workshop was. For the first time, I learned how to read experimental passages efficiently and be able to interpret and understand the graphs, tables. I would 100% recommend Sean Studies to everyone planning to take the MCAT. It will be worth it, don't second guess it honestly :)

Personal Statement help is great! Sean Studies was amazing at helping me with personal statements, especially because I didn’t know where to begin. There were 30 comments on my first draft! Which helped me narrow down my topic and theme. The comments were anywhere from “yes!! Emphasize this” to “this seems a little too sarcastic and may not go over well”. Since I’m a science major, writing isn’t my strong suit, so they also helped with how I phrased my ideas. They helped me dig deep into my experiences and my passions to find why my experiences made me want to be a physician. That was the most crucial step because it took weeks for me to finally connect it all, but once I did the words came so much easier.

This is the MCAT success algorithm... TRUST THE REVIEWS I can confidently say I wouldn't have conquered the MCAT without Sean and Tommy. Trying to study for the MCAT on my own just wasn't cutting it, and my first attempt left me feeling defeated. Fast forward a year later, my score has skyrocketed by 11 points. What I learned from tutoring with Tommy is that a subject might seem comprehensible when you read about it, but true understanding comes when you can articulate it fully. So, whenever I struggled to digest a concept, like the RAAS system for example, and I got a question wrong, I'd attempt to explain it to Tommy. He'd intervene when I stumbled, guiding me to clarity. Though my MCAT is in the rearview mirror, both Tommy and Sean continue to carve out time from their busy med student schedules for me. Just recently, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Sean as he helped me prepare for interviews. Their dedication to their students' success is unparalleled. I could sing their praises for hours, but to sum it up, Pillar Prep was an absolute game changer, and I'd be lying if I said I could have done it without Tommy and Sean. Thank you for making my dream come true.
