GBI had just graduated college... I had just graduated college with my Bachelors degree and been job searching for months. Right when my chances of getting a job were looking bleak I saw an ad for this program on YouTube. I was very skeptical about the program at first -- I can't even fully articulate in this review how worth it this program has been. There are two key things this program offers that the education system doesn't: job preparation, and the ability to work at your own speed rather than that of a group's. I have learned more marketable skills doing this program than I did in all 4 years of college, and at a much faster pace without immense stress and all-nighters. I enjoyed the coding classes I took in college, but the curriculum around that degree was too much for me. This program is accommodating to your schedule and speed, and there are tutors available. The program also gives you an opportunity to gain work experience, which is possibly the most important thing to have on your resume. If your goal is to get a job in tech, and you know you have the ability, but have no idea how to get there -- this program is for you.

GBTripleTen was a spontaneous decision… TripleTen was just a spontaneous decision spurred from an Instagram ad during a time of uncertainty in my career. It has been a great decision and a better challenge for myself, pushing to achieve things I didn't think I could accomplish while working a full-time career. The staff for TripleTen have been extremely accommodating, supportive, and most importantly... knowledgeable! I recommend going through either of their programs if you feel, like I did myself, that you could've/should've gone down a tech-centered career path. It is never too late to make a positive change knowing there's a support system there to push you to your final goals!

GBA solid introduction to web devleopment I took the free web development intro course and it was great! I've taken a lot of online classes for this topic, but Practicum by Yandex provided a unique approach by having you feel like you're in a real-world internship. The course covers the basics of HTML and CSS well, still breaking things down step-by-step, but you get to complete an actual project very quickly. It makes you want to keep learning, which is very important.

GBGreat Data Science! Practicum by Yandex Data Science course is easy to follow, I think when you're first starting learning something completely new like Python that's really important. When I got stuck there were also hints provided that helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. I especially like that they use real world examples in order to teach skills.

GBFantastic course so far! Fantastic course so far! Having completed the intro course, this program seems to be a really good mix between your standard intensive boot camp and something like DataQuest ore Codeacademy. This is helpful in keeping you motivated without feeling too rigid. There is the occasional issue that arises due to some translation issue (Yandex is a Russian company), but translating is hard enough without having to do it while teaching a technical subject. I'd rate this a 4.5 stars if I could due to the newness of the course and the fact it's still in development. All in all, I highly recommend at least trying the intro to see if the format works for you.
