Lumiere has been an amazing research… Lumiere has been an amazing research experience. I have received a full ride and an amazing mentor to guide my research journey. I have learnt a lot through the program. They offered a lot of effective writing sessions and we're flexible with my schedule. I have loved the time I spend with Lumiere as I grew as a learner. They also are offering 3 credits from UC San Diego if you successfully complete the project. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to apply to Lumiere!

Lumiere's Magic Touch My experience with Lumiere was exceptional. As it was my first time, I was amazed how smoothly the entire process unfolded. The pairing with my mentor Mr. Trevor Dean Arnold from Cornell University was outstanding as we quickly built a strong connection and this would not have been possible otherwise. The extra writing sessions proved to be greatly beneficial, providing me with valuable guidance. I cannot stress enough how much of a lifesaver the Lumiere Handbook was, it even allowed me to complete everything last minute by simply following the well-structured patterns outlined within. Overall, my experience with Lumiere exceeded my expectations, thanks to the seamless process, excellent mentorship and the invaluable resources provided.

My Lumiere Education Experience My experience at Lumiere was fantastic. I was introduced to my mentor and program manager on my first day, and these two people have followed up with me closely through each step of my research journey. My mentor was the best; she could always explain everything in case I didn't understand, she could encourage me in a good way by giving me tips on what I could improve, she could always check on me and ask me how I was doing and if I need more sessions or time to finish my work. I had an amazing time with her from the first day when we were brainstorming our beautiful research question to the last day when she was reviewing my final paper. It was a journey full of laughter, curiosity, celebrations, a lot of screening, growth, learning, and love for research. This experience is just the beginning of my dream to become a researcher and positively impact society. With Lumiere's strong foundation for research laid, I am confident that I am on the right path. My experience during the last fortnight What actually made my experience so advantageous is the moment of coming up with a 3d-model simulation for my research paper. Indeed, my mentor assisted me a lot to do this simulation as he was expert in finite element analysis such as MATLAB. Also, I felt happy during assessment of the provisional final paper. The more I modify in the content of the paper, the more writing skills I gain.

From studying about researching techniques to attending formal writing workshops and learning how to correct my paper, I enjoyed the whole process. Truly a great opportunity.
