Great program!! My child took both Selective Prep and Critical Thinking Child. He felt strongly that the Critical Thinking Child program was key to his success especially in paper folding and everything else that was non verbal. He was accepted to Lane Tech's AC program for 7th grade and his gifted score improved from 124 to 141 (5th grade vs 6th grade). We are tier 4. Thank you Lemi!!

Critical Thinking Skills are life skills I put my son here because critical thinking to me is an important life skill. Unfortunately, not all schools focus on critical thinking skills. I also pay attention to my son's brain development. I read neuroscience books in my free time to help understand myself and my children. Decision making involves different areas of the brain. I choose enrichment programs for my son that I feel will develop these parts of the brain that will influence him to make important decisions as an adult. I am happy to be in Chicago because of this organization. I have recommended the online version to my friends in other states. The Critical Thinking Child is truly a Chicago gem so I tell everyone about it.

Good feedback as you work with your children My young children were evaluated by Lemi, and her specific feedback from the results were helpful. She identified areas of reading, math and critical thinking, that I could focus on with each child as the testing date drew close. This was something I very much appreciated, especially for my first child (as we were newbies to the Selective Enrollment process). I also attended a boot camp session where she worked with children in the presence of their parents; so parents could also benefit from watching her interaction with the children. She has an easy style with the children, and they were comfortable answering her questions in a very short time after meeting her. As a parent, working with your child is paramount. However, having resources such as Lemi and the Critical Thinking Child is helpful indeed!

We love Boot Camp! We love Boot Camp! We are so appreciative for the tools and guidance that Lemi and her teachers provided our family. We had the motivation to work with our daughter, but without a road map we didn't know where to start or what to focus on. The experience of Boot Camp classes gave our daughter the chance to get comfortable working with and taking instruction from other adults, while the tools and materials provided made it fun and easy for us to reinforce everything at home. Beyond being prepared for testing for Kindergarten (which Boot Camp helped with on multiple levels!), our daughter and our whole family have benefited from this program with strategies for critical thinking, problem solving, and learning basic skills.

completely waste of time and cost. completely waste of time and cost.. literally they dont teach kids anything instead say they are good at match the following and certain alphabet recognition.. we dont send our kids with so much money to learn alphabets as that is thought at home and multiple other places.. v disappointed.. decided will never send my daughter.. same were the review by other 3 parents
